Keep Calm and Cook On

Finally had my kitchen clean enough the other day to post pictures – which is about all I have to talk about today.  Tomorrow I will post a few cute pictures of Liesl’s ballet but for now, there has not been much going on of note.  Seems like we have been out of the house a lot since we were at the Co-op on Thursday, at her Christmas ballet recital Thursday night, playing at the park for a few hours on Friday, out at the Christmas dinner for John’s command Friday night, and then out today for more ballet and a quick meeting with potential sitters.  Several kids have been coughing and no one seems perfectly well, so I think we are due for a few days of just sitting around the house trying to work on getting the rest of it organized still, now that the kitchen is finished….

That tea cozy on the left is my favorite because it says, "Where there is tea, there is hope." :)

I love the three Red-white-blue bowls, too — One says, “God save the Cream” (the white one on the fridge), another “Let them eat cake” and the third “Off with her Bread.”  So British!
